Santaldih Thermal Power Station (stage I) started it’s journey in the Year 1974. Finally Unit#1-4 got permanently de-commissioned in the Year 2009-10. Simultaneously 500 MW (2*250MW) capacity addition job started in the Year 2004 and got completed by 2011 by BHEL.
